How the lock operates
Using a traditional Lever handle for this lock type, you would simply lift the handle to engage the locking system into the frame and simply turn the key.
This lock type also offers you the option of of a Lever/Lever handle, or Lever/Pad. The Lever/Lever handle means that when you close the door, it can still be accesed from outside. When you choose the Lever/Pad handle, you would require a key to gain access from the outside. It is worth noting that even with the Lever/Pad handle restricting access through the door from the outside, your composite door in this case should always have the handle lifted up to fully engage the multi point locking system and the key being turned which ensure the door is fully deadlocked.
