The Malton is one of our more retro styles of door. This design was first seen in the 20s and 30s, and has remained popular even since. It has an arched glass panel at the top of the door and three long moulded panels below the glass. The Malton is best suited to older, character properties due to its shape and design, this isn’t to say that it wouldn’t look great on a newer property.
We have 41 beautiful colours to choose from, as well as 9 different glass designs which range from plain to ornate, and finally 6 hardware colours which are available in both our traditional and contemporary hardware suites.
Our doors have a minimum life span of 35 years, they are made from strong, robust materials which are designed to serve you for a long time to come. Each and every one of our doors are bespoke, this means that they are not just picked off the shelf, they are made to measure by us, and designed by you.
We care a great deal about safety and efficiency, and for this reason, included in every order is a Secured by Design Certified Yale Multi Point Door lock, toughened security glass which is either double or triple glazed, hardwearing hinges which are designed to withstand decades of regular use, and lastly, a Q-Lon gasket which is regarded as one of the most thermally and acoustically efficient gaskets on the market.
